Charlotte

Hi I’m Charlotte. I’m a qualified hypnobirthing instructor. It was my own experience of birth with each of my three children that led me to teaching. I believe every woman and birthing person has the right to feel supported, empowered and confident when it comes to their own labour and birth experience – whether this is the first time or the fourth!

Hypnobirthing is a powerful set of techniques and knowledge which enables you to make informed decisions that feel right for you, understand your body in labour and birth and helps you to feel that “I did it!” feeling when you hold your baby in your arms for the first time.

Birth partners – hypnobirthing is here for you too and we dedicate almost a full session to you and your role in labour and birth.

I offer private and group courses both in person and online so they are flexible enough to fit around all sorts of family and work situations.  All my courses are per couple and include four sessions (usually weekly), a copy of The Calm Birth Method book, your own personalised padlet with the course materials and my support from when we start until baby is born.

Prices are as follows:

  • Group course: In person: £250  /  Online: £200
  • 1-2-1 course: In person: £300  /  Online: £250

If you are pregnant and feeling anxious or worried about labour and birth, either from a previous bad experience or it’s your first time – get in touch and let’s start your journey.

For a full list of courses visit my website: www.helloworldhypnobirthing.co.uk or drop me an email at charlotte@helloworldhypnobirthing.co.uk

Tracy

I’m Tracy Nicholson, a trauma-informed Play Therapist, supporting children aged 3–12 years. I’ve been working with children and families for over 25 years, in nurseries, schools, and family support services. Throughout my career, I’ve seen how powerful play can be in helping children make sense of their feelings, process difficult experiences, and grow in confidence.  I have additional training in trauma and neurodiversity.

Play therapy is a gentle, child-led approach that allows children to express themselves when words are hard to find. It gives them a safe space to explore emotions, understand experiences, and develop the skills to cope with life’s challenges.

Through play therapy, children can:

  • Understand and manage difficult emotions
  • Build confidence, self-esteem, and independence
  • Develop social skills and positive relationships
  • Cope with anxiety, trauma, bereavement, or life changes
  • Feel heard, valued, and supported in a calm, nurturing space

I provide a warm, child-centred environment where each child can explore feelings at their own pace. I work closely with parents and, when appropriate, other professionals, to ensure support is tailored to each child’s needs. My goal is always to help children feel safe, understood, and empowered.

Cost per session: £70 for 45 minutes, £50 for online sessions.

If you’d like to explore whether play therapy could support your child, you’re very welcome to get in touch for a friendly, informal conversation.

Amna

Amna is a psychotherapist who works with adults and parents navigating emotional overwhelm, complex family dynamics, and neurodivergent-related challenges.

Many of the people Amna works with:

  • are parents of neurodivergent children who feel stretched, unsure, or emotionally exhausted and want space to think, feel, and make sense of their experience
  • are neurodivergent adults who have spent much of their lives adapting, masking, or carrying responsibility for others
feel stuck in repeating emotional or relational patterns and want to understand why these patterns persist
  • are navigating complex family systems, cultural or intergenerational expectations, identity tension, or questions of belonging
  • experience burnout, self-doubt, or a sense of carrying “too much” for too long

Amna’s work is grounded in Transactional Analysis, with a focus on early relational experiences, internal belief systems, and the wider social and cultural context shaping a person’s life. She works thoughtfully and at depth, offering a calm, boundaried, and reflective therapeutic space.

Alongside her clinical practice, Amna is currently undertaking additional training in coaching for neurodivergent adults, which complements her therapeutic work by supporting clarity, self-trust, and sustainable change.

Clients who tend to benefit most from working with Amna are reflective, motivated, and ready to engage in therapy as a process rather than a quick fix.

Rob

As our Senior Audiologist, Robert Donnan RHAD, MSHAA, brings more than 31 years of specialist experience to Skipton. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for combining deep clinical expertise with a genuinely compassionate approach to patient care. His philosophy centres on giving every individual the time, clarity, and support they need to make confident decisions about their hearing health

Robert’s work is grounded in three core principles that shape the way our practice operates: offering genuine value for money, providing meaningful trial periods before any purchase, and delivering what we believe to be a uniquely holistic approach to hearing‑aid acclimatisation. He understands that adapting to new hearing technology is both a technical and emotional journey, and he is committed to guiding patients through that process with patience, honesty, and encouragement.

His clinical expertise spans several advanced areas of audiology. Robert specialises in motivational counselling, helping patients navigate the psychological and lifestyle aspects of hearing loss. He is highly experienced in fitting hearing aids for profound losses, ensuring that even the most complex cases receive tailored, effective solutions. In addition, he is proficient in programming across all major manufacturers within the ‘Big Six’ hearing‑aid brands, allowing him to match each patient with the technology that best suits their needs.

Robert’s leadership sets the tone for the practice: evidence‑based, empathetic, and centred on long‑term support. His commitment to high standards of care ensures that every patient benefits from both his extensive knowledge and his unwavering dedication to improving quality of life through better hearing.

A hearing consultation costs £35. This is refunded if hearing aids are subsequently purchased.
